The Last Stand

“You have to be lying.”

Eyes crossed. Disbelieved.

“YOU HAVE TO BE LYING!”

Eyes darted towards the man at the mall.

The man’s moustache twitched in anger as he glared at his boss.

He thumped his fists against the mahogany table,arousing the den of security.

“That’s the reason why I don’t need you.”

Unconvinced.

Failure.
